The “Mosaic” Dance Troupe of “Ocean” All-Russian Children’s Center paid a visit to Zibo Vocational Institute from October 13thto 21st. During the visit all the members of the Dance Troupe attended the signing ceremony ofZibo International Cooperation conferencehosted by Zibo Municipal Government and a cooperation memorandum was signed between “Ocean” All-Russian Children’s Center and ZBVI,agreeing on the further cooperation in the field of cultural communications and student exchanges.
The “Mosaic” Dance Troupe is made up of 25 teachers and students. During their stay in ZBVI, a series of programs were arranged. They attended training classesof Chinese, calligraphy, Tai Ji and porcelain-making, and visited the famous local historical and scenic sites, i.e., Porcelain Museum of China, Qi Culture Museum, Zhoucun Ancient Commercial City and the Wetland Park of Xiaofu River. And a Sino-Russian Gala was staged in the Music Hall of ZBVI, which was characterized with the Russian dancing and Chinese traditional folk dancing. The gala was a great success and is regarded as a gift for the 70thanniversary of founding of Sino-Russian relations.
It is reported that“Ocean” All-Russian Children’s Center is located near Vladivostok and was set up on October 2nd, 1983. It is one of the four Children’s Centers in Russia.
