The scholarship awarding ceremony for international students was held on June 14th in Wisdom Café, North Campus. Ms. Yang Baimei, President of ZBVI, Jiang Yilin, Vice CCP Secretary and director of Student Affairs Department and International School attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the director of Student Affairs Department announced the scholarship awarding document and declared the names of the winners. Totally 34 students won the scholarships, among which there were 5 first prizes rewarding 3000 RMB Yuan each, 10 second prizes, rewarding 2000 RMB Yuan, and 19 third prizes, rewarding 1000 RMB Yuan. One representative of the prize winners made a speech about their study and life experience in ZBVI. At the close of the ceremony, Mr. JIANG Yilin, Vice secretary of ZBVI Party Committee, said highly of the international education program and expressed his congratulations on the success of the international students, pointing the way to the further development of the international education program.
It is reported that totally 121 international students came to study in ZBVI in 2017-2018 academic year. The scholarship awarding ceremony would not only help to create a better study atmosphere among the international students but also encourage them to pay more attention to building up morality, virtues, friendliness and motivations in cultural communications.
