National Center for Educational Technology, attached to the Ministry of Education, China, recently released the latest announcement declaring the third batch of the Experimental Colleges for National Digital Campus Construction Project, and Zibo Vocational Institute is in the list.
The Experimental Colleges for National Digital Campus Construction Project is aimed to implement the instructions of the National Education Informatisation Development Decade Plan and the National Vocational Education Conference, pushing forward the establishment and utilization of information technology in vocational colleges nationwide. The project is sponsored and inspected by the Ministry of Education, China.
With great efforts and the high quality hardware, Zibo Vocational Institute is successfully chosen as one of the experimental colleges for the project, which is a great inspiration to all the staff of ZBVI. A detailed plan has been made to carry out the vision for the Digital Campus where all teachers and students are accessible to the Internet which will benefit all in terms of teaching, studying, living and entertaining. The project will definitely upgrade the information technology across the campus.
It is reported that the construction period of the project will last for three years, during which more practical improvements will be made with the help and guidance of the state-level experts to accomplish the construction.
