A guest professor appointment ceremony was held on the afternoon of June 29th in ZBVI. Miss YANG Baimei, President of Zibo Vocational Institute, presented guest professor diplomas to Professor Kuak, Dean of Animation Department from Chongju University, and Dr. Kim, from the Nursing Department of Baekseok University in South Korea. Mr. JIANG Yilin, Deputy Secretary of CPC of ZBVI, Dean of Animation Department, Dean of Nursing Department and core teachers also attended the ceremony which was chaired by the Dean of the International School of ZBVI.
At the ceremony, Miss Yang Baimei, president of ZBVI, expressed her warm welcome and sincere thanks to the two visiting professors for their teaching and academic assistance to ZBVI. The advanced educational principles and technology helped the teachers and students in many ways and deepened the friendship and cooperation among the three universities. Miss Yang finally wished that the guests could enjoy their stay in China.
In the following speeches, the two guest professor expressed their thanks to the kind hospitality of ZBVI and believed that the teaching experience in ZBVI would be an unforgettable memory in their life. They would do what they could to promote the cooperation between the two sides in the field of mutual recognition of credit and other field. Professor Kuak would hold a seminar on Animation Teaching and Specialty Construction in the following week.
Professor Kuak graduated from School of Computer, Visual Arts New York with a Master’s degree and is now the Dean of Animation Department, Chongju University. He teaches Maya Design, Multimedia Production and Graduation Works Design. Until last year, he had been the Academic Director of Korean Animation Associate and had once won the first reward of the Associate.
Professor Kim obtained her Doctor’s Degree of Nursing from Ewha Women's University in 2012 and now is the chief professor of Nursing Department in Baekseok University. She teaches Adult Nursing and Adult Nursing Internship in her university and has published several academic books such as on Adult Nursing, on Aged Nursing and Health Inspection.
