The construction seminar of Finance and commercialspecialty groupand the Guest professor Appointment ceremony were held on June 22ndin ZBVI. Miss Yang Baimei, President of Zibo Vocational Institute, attended the seminar and presented guest professor letter of attorney to Alan Royko and Sandrine Cru from ESC RENNES, a sister university of ZBVI in France. The appointment ceremony and the seminar was chaired by the Director of the International School of ZBVI.
At the seminar, Professor Alan Royko gave a lecture on the development of Business Specialties in French universities. Course directors, core teachers and teaching management staff from the Finance and Business Department attended the lecture and exchanged ideas about the construction and development of the related specialties. All the attendants remarked that the lecture was very instructive to the teaching and research of their own fields. The lecture was also a significant guidance to boost the construction of “high quality university” for ZBVI.
Professor Alan Royko, Vice president of ESC RENNES, graduated fromthe University of Paris 1 with a master’s degree; He also gota MBA degree of Ohio State University, USA, with the major of International Trade and Logistics. Now he is in charge of the International communications and cooperation of six universities in RENNES, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Ruhr which belong to the ESG Education Group. Its program has spread to China, USA and Russia. From January to June in 2014, 26 undergraduates and postgraduates came to ZBVI and studied here for six months. Professor Alan Royko is also in charge of the teaching management of ESC RENNES and has been specializing in the business teaching and management for more than 24 years.
Miss Sandrine Cru, a postgraduate of Business Management from Glasgow University, UK, is now working as Associate Professor at ESC RENNES and has been teaching《Marketing》and《International Trade》for 18 years.
