About 90 foreign students attended a lecture on immigration law in Room D210 given by the police officers from the local police station and the lecture was presided over by the Dean of the International School.
During the lecture, Miss Zuo Yajuan, a local police officer, explained the details about theExit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of Chinaandgave suggestions about the securities of property,traffic and personal safety. The teachers from the school also reaffirmed the college regulations. After the lecture, the overseas students took part in the fire drills and learned how to use the fire extinguishers in their Apartment Building.
As part of the education program for the freshmen, the lecture and fire drills are aimed to realize the security management of the foreign students.Response from the students shows that they have learned more about the local laws and the college regulations, which will help achieve a promising and smooth learning career.
